youth and children’s groups

Children and young people are warmly welcomed in our churches. We run a variety of groups for children and young people of different ages.

Crèche

There is a crèche for children up to the age of four at the 10.15am service at Elsenham Village Hall and the 11.15am service at St Mary's Henham.

Ugley Junior Church

Meets during the Sunday service at St Peter's Ugley, activities and teaching for children up to the age of 11.

Sunday club

A Sunday Club meets during both the 10.15am Elsenham Village Hall service and the 11.15am St Mary’s Henham Service with activities and teaching for children aged 4-8 years old.

Explorers

An Explorers group meets during both the 10.15am Elsenham Village Hall service and the 11.15am St Mary’s Henham Service with games and teaching for children aged 8-11 years old.

Pathfinders

Meets during the 6.00pm service at St Mary's Henham. A youth group for children aged 11-14 years old.

Crammin’

Meets in OSCA in Henham after the 6.00pm service. A youth group for teenagers aged 14-18 years old.

Ugley Little Fishes

Monday 9.30am Ugley Hall Potting Shed

For pre-school children and their parents and carers. Each week there is singing, a Bible story, play time and refreshments for both the children and adults.

Henham Little Fishes

Thursday 10.00am Church Hall, Henham

For pre-school children and their parents and carers. Each week there is singing, a Bible story, play time and refreshments for both the children and adults.

Elsenham Little Fishes

Friday 10.00am Elsenham Memorial Hall

For pre-school children and their parents and carers. Each week there is singing, a Bible story, play time and refreshments for both the children and adults.

Elsenham Christian Play

Tuesday after school club for children in years 1 to year 3, from Elsenham school. Each week there is a bible story , play time and activities and a cup of tea for the parent when they come to pick up their children.

Daddy & Me

Meets ever third Saturday 9.00-10.30am in OSCA, Henham and is for 0-5’s and their Dad. Each month there are games, free play, a Bible talk, tea, coffee and bacon rolls.
